Phipps Cameron is pleased to be partnered with a leading Tech-enabled Software business looking to make their 1st M&A hire to be based in London. The M&A lead will drive the search and assessment of established brand product acquisition opportunities. Execute strategic acquisition projects to expand the business in alignment with company strategy. MUST HAVE Software experience 7+ years in Mergers and Acquisitions Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough analytical searches to identify new acquisition targets. Build and maintain networks with companies to uncover and seize new opportunities. Lead cross-functional due diligence teams in evaluating potential product acquisitions. Develop and present financial evaluations and risk analyses for acquisition prospects. Coordinate with post-deal integration teams and serve as the primary contact for all product acquisitions. Support and occasionally lead divestment efforts of non-strategic assets. Manage deal execution for business development and licensing projects. Ensure all activities comply with relevant legislation and regulatory policies. Position is based in London and requires travel.
