Your Role As a Business Analyst within the M&A Integrations Team, you will support the delivery of business integrations following merger and acquisition activity and lead analysis activities to align acquisitions with Irwin Mitchell’s processes and systems. Your role is essential in aiding the business in realising the investment case through identification and implementation of business process and systems change, which supports smooth transition of the acquired entity. What You’ll Be Doing Professional Expertise Identify opportunities and lead problem solving activity on M&A integration programmes. Use various tools and techniques to thoroughly understand the needs or problems of M&A integration programs. Advise or direct others on smaller projects and identify dependency links with other projects. Facilitate communication between the project or product team and the business leading engagement and facilitation initiatives to develop a consensus on complex programmes and major products. Lead the analysis and solution evaluation for a large and complex integration program or major product by analysing and synthesising complex information to create focus and find solutions. Ensure the delivered solution or design meets the intended need and resolves the problem by leading assurance activities on complex projects or major products. This involves aligning with target business designs, providing recommendations, and offering constructive challenges. People and Mind-set Build and maintain effective relationships with the M&A team, the M&A Integrations Team, CIO, and business stakeholders using persuasion to deliver outcomes aligning with strategic directions of the organisation. Encourage collaboration and leadership by uniting individuals with complementary skills, fostering open expression of conflicting viewpoints, and resolving conflicts with sensitivity and fairness. Promote accountability, self-management, and a willingness to learn by taking responsibility for delegated work, anticipating changes, encouraging new perspectives, and supporting others in their learning. Client and Business Focus on customer value and business growth by finding ways to add value beyond immediate needs, questioning and challenging the value delivered, and addressing long-term and future needs. Develop a well-thought-out, compelling vision identifying the implications of own analysis, clearly articulating team-level outcomes, and plans to deliver. Generate value by focusing on delivery and demonstrating commercial acumen. Independently manage tasks that require interpreting complex and often ambiguous information. About You You must be able to operate in complex project environments to quickly elicit key information to aid the shaping of the business process and systems transition. Broad range of analysis skills & techniques Understanding drivers for change including benefits measurement and profiling Assuring design governance using guardrails Stakeholder analysis, engagement & collaboration Understand and awareness of the BA involvement throughout the change lifecycle. Design techniques eg.
