Key responsibilities Taking a pivotal role in M&A tax projects, delivering technical work in accordance with the firm’s standard procedures and ensuring agreed arrangements with the client are met, including costs and timescales. Actively maintaining existing client relationships, responding quickly to external and internal queries. Completing due diligence projects by conducting and supervising on corporate tax elements whilst liaising with other specialist teams as required. Delivering tax structuring advice pre- and post- transaction to provide tax efficient solutions for clients. Supervising and developing more junior staff, including delegation, reviewing work, on-the-job coaching and carrying out requested feedback. Briefing junior staff on the client’s business and the pre-assignment instructions to supervising and controlling the completion of work. Skills and requirements CCTA / ATII qualified is preferred or equivalent, ideally along with an accounting qualification such as ACA or ACCA. Previous experience operating at Assistant Manager or Manager level (or equivalent) is necessary, or can demonstrate the skill set required to undertake the role. Good knowledge of Transactions Tax, in a specialist capacity or as a Corporate Tax professional. Proven experience in client handling and building good relationships. Seniority level
