Role: Machine Learning Engineer (NLP) – AI Avatars Location: London (Hybrid) Salary: Up to £150,000 + bonus & options The Company: DeepRec.ai have partnered with a global AI content generation company who are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer (NLP) to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an outstanding candidate to join the most exciting company in the AI avatar space. What You’ll Be Doing: This role bridges the NLP team (focused on R&D and language understanding) with the Assisted Creation team (integrating solutions into the product). As part of the NLP team, you’ll own long-term projects to design and implement ML solutions for the Assisted Creation project, including building and recommending data pipelines. You’ll work closely with the Product Manager to align with product needs, giving you the opportunity to shape its direction. Key Responsibilities Include: Developing ML models, data pipelines, and evaluation frameworks, ensuring solutions are ready for deployment. Measuring the impact of your work using our data infrastructure and iterating as needed. Breaking down challenges into iterative, deliverable steps. What You’ll Bring: A relevant PhD or an MSc with 4+ years of industry experience in machine learning or NLP. Experience fine-tuning and deploying LLMs, ideally open-source. 5+ years of experience in ML, with significant NLP expertise. Proven ability to build high-performance ML applications. (Bonus) Familiarity with computer vision and diffusion models. Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with Product Managers. A passion for ML and problem-solving.
