MACHINE OPERATIVE Full time / Permanent / Ref: MO/10/24 Location: Central Park, Mallusk Hours: 40hrs/week - Monday to Friday Alternative Shifts: will be discussed at interview Due to our continual growth, we are looking to appoint a Machine Operative, in our Materials Recovery Facility (MRF)Mallusk. Roles & Responsibilities Operating various machines to include mobile machinery such as forklifts and Loading Shovels. Ensuring the facility & its equipment is kept clean and tidy, with importance placed on housekeeping/cleaning throughout the shift (will include working at height) Report immediately any issues with machines to MRF Supervisor / Operations Manager Ensure compliance with statutory and company obligations, & Health & Safety standards are maintained at all times. Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times Ensure all machines on site comply with the relevant H&S standards and company standard operating procedures. Any other duties as delegated by the MRF Supervisor / Operations Manager. Essential Criteria Must have a valid licence and experience of operating one of the following machines: 360 Excavator, Telescopic Forklift, Counterbalance Forklift or Loading shovel Good organisational skills Good communication skills both written and verbal Ability to work well on own initiative Be self-motivated Ability to work well with others Flexible approach to work hours, as additional hours will be required on occasion Desirable Criteria Previous experience working in the Waste industry Experience operating a baler What We Offer!
