Straight Forward Recruitment are actively looking for Flow Wrap Machine Operatives to join our Clients team at a leading UK Cake manufacturer at Holt.
Where you’d be working within a modern and exciting online cake business, producing a fantastic range of wonderful cakes which are sold to our customers via the website and through a network of wholesalers throughout the UK.
The role involves applying fondant icing to the top of our personalised cake orders and then adding the chosen rice paper design to the icing. It also involves finishing Miniature Baby Sponge cakes and Sponge Loaves with buttercream and operating a flow wrap machine that wraps all the cakes to keep them fresh.

08h30hrs – 17.00hrs. PAY:
£12.00 per hour. SKILLS REQUIRED The successful candidate will have great speed of hand and exceptional eye for detail. Experience of operating a flow wrapping machine or something similar is essential for this role, and previous bakery, factory or catering experience is preferred. You may also be required to perform other duties such as packing finished products, stacking boxes onto pallets, completing related paperwork, and maintaining a clean working environment. You will also be required to adhere to all of the required Health & Safety and best practices across the site. This position has some physical aspects to the role; similar experience in methodical, repetitive work, lifting, and carrying would also be preferred.
