Machine Operative

My client is currently looking for a trainee PCB tester and assembly machine operative to join their team in their busy manufacturing and production area at their Dartford factory. The Assembly & Machine Operative role will involve: Testing printed circuit boards and metal fabrication of panel boards. Handling metal materials. Checking and testing manufactured products. Fault finding. Setting machinery and assembly. You will be required to: Meet specific departmental and company targets. Follow systems and procedures within the department, adhering to health and safety regulations, housekeeping, work instructions, and quality checking. Engage in assembly work and machine operating roles as well as PCB testing. Skills & Experience required: Computer literate with basic mathematics. Ability to work as part of a team. Working to tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy; previous experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable. Experience using similar machinery is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided. Able to understand mechanical drawings and artwork is preferred but not essential. Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8 am - 5 pm or 2 pm - 10 pm (training will be provided on the day shift from 8 am - 4:30 pm for the first two weeks).
