An excellent opportunity has arisen within a prestigious long established company in Rainham, Essex. We are looking for energetic Production Operators to join a friendly team on a temp to perm basis. It is a trainee role, therefore ideal for candidates who would like to grow and develop their skills. Pay rate £13.73 p/h.
Working hours:
Both days 6.00 - 18.00 and nights 18.00 - 6.00 based on the rota across 7 days a week. However, candidates are expected to be flexible as training will be provided on day shift 8.00 – 17.00.

Duties:
Ensuring that the product quality and type meets standard specifications. Ensuring that safety procedures and high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping on the site are upheld at all times. Checking and adjusting the machines to ensure these are functioning correctly and efficiently. Carrying out regular routine maintenance and cleaning the machinery to meet the Company’s guidelines and instructions. Undertaking regular quality control tests, in-process checks and taking samples where needed. Attending training courses which are identified by the Company as necessary.
Expectations:
Good Communication Skills. A willingness to work shifts is essential and flexibility will be expected to cover production requirements. Must also have a mechanical aptitude to be able to maintain the machinery and experience in operating production machinery. Must be able to carry out physical tasks including lifting and manual handling. Must have previous manufacturing experience. Must be computer literate and able to complete relevant paperwork. Experience in grain handling, flour milling, or food production would be an advantage.
