We are now recruiting for a Machine Operative for our client, based in the Ilkeston area. This is initially an on-going, temporary role, working days. Working in an engineering/workshop environment, this role has the potential to become permanent.
Duties
Operating manual machinery (including boring, milling, and lathe machines)
Some welding duties
Using verniers and callipers
What we require from you
Previous machining (particularly boring machines)/engineering experience, and able to work in a dusty/noisy environment
Welding experience preferable
Willingness to learn new skills
Able to work days (Monday - Friday)
Working Hours 07:00 - 15:30pm Monday to Thursdays / Friday 14:30pm Finish
09:00 – 18:30pm Monday to Thursdays / Friday 16:00 Finish
