In this active and engaging role, you'll work with Assembly Machines or Multispindle Lathes, with flexible shift patterns tailored to fit your schedule. After successfully completing a 3-month probationary period, you'll be offered a permanent contract, providing stability and growth potential.
Machine Operative Duties Include:
Operating machinery in both assembly and lathe areas of the workshop Performing full start-up and shutdown procedures for machines as needed Conducting minor maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operation Monitoring production quality and addressing any issues promptly Assisting with tooling changes and machine adjustments Ensuring a clean and organized working environment Supporting team efforts to meet production targets and deadlines Experience operating manual lathes, press machines or mechanical machinery from other industries such as food production would be highly beneficial. The shifts required for this role are working 06:00 - 18:00, 3 or 4 days a week, with one of those days being a weekend.
