Humdinger, Heckington, NG34 9JH Position Type: Full-time, permanent Hours: 36 Shift Pattern: 3 on 4 off, 18:00 - 06:00 Pay range: £14.83 - £15.83/hour (Salary equivalent £27,761.76 - £29,633.76 /annum) based on experience. Breaks: 3 x 20 minutes PAID We're seeking skilled Machine Operatives who are hard working with strong communication skills and the ability to meet manufacturing deadlines within a team environment. Ideally, you will have worked in an FMCG/ Food Manufacturing environment previously with proven experience working with machinery. Responsibilities

Join our dynamic team and take responsibility for delivering the Production Plan through accurate processing of products using automated equipment, ensuring all Work Order requirements are met. You will play a critical role in optimising the quality, safety, and efficiency of both the work area and equipment. Ensure accurate processing of products with automated equipment to meet Work Order requirements. Optimise Process Quality, Safety, and Efficiency within the work area. Take responsibility for mastering all aspects of the processing equipment to ensure full flexibility across the area. Operate assets in alignment with both business and customer specifications. Meet or exceed performance standards based on KPI targets. Minimise yield losses in accordance with site KPI objectives. Complete changeovers and hygiene activities within the timeframes set by KPI targets. Ensure all Quality Control and Production checks are performed and documented accurately, whether using Iauditor or manual documentation. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth production operations and high-quality output. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime. Previous experience working in a food manufacturing environment. (Desirable) The ability to work with and understand basic computer systems. (Desirable) Ideally have a working understanding of Processing machinery or similar (Essential) Operating Fryer / Oven Machinery (Desirable) Experience working to GMP standards (Desirable) Good level of written and verbal English & Maths.(Essential) Knowledge of stock ordering and material recording.
