Each region manages unique landscapes, environmental features, and areas of special importance. Our sites are known for their breathtaking scenery and opportunities for land-based outdoor activities. We have a strong focus on commercial forestry, creating a dynamic and engaging role for experienced operators. FLS plays a key role in providing wood and timber products that are essential for everyday life. Wood is a remarkable, renewable material, with every part of the tree—from roots and bark to branches and trunks—being put to good use in products ranging from medicines and mulch to paper and planks. With an annual timber production of 3.2 million cubic meters, our direct production teams work across a variety of species and crop types, harvesting and extracting timber to high standards. Flexibility is essential in this role, as teams often adjust production to meet customer needs and support supply contracts. This position offers the opportunity to work in diverse environments, contributing to sustainable forest management across Scotland.
