We are currently looking for an experienced metalwork Machine Operator / Machinist to join our client in Wimborne St Giles on a full-time permanent basis with
a four day working week!
Hours: 7am - 6pm Monday - Thursday
Main Tasks and Responsibilities for Progression of Orders:
Consult with Designers at all stages of manufacture Work from technical drawings to manufacture products Select machinery and set it up using skill and knowledge Make jigs for special equipment Handover completed product/s to the finishing department or relevant team Manage a portfolio of runner products with responsibility for product development and manufacturing efficiency Liaise with purchasing for the acquisition of machine shop tools/cutters etc. Train and upskill employees on machinery used Equipment Used:
XYZ Proturn CNC lathe XYZ SMX CNC milling machine Manual lathes Manual milling machines All metalworking machines
