Machine Operator
Salary: Up to £30,888 per annum + Level 2 Bupa Healthcare Cash Plan Working Hours: Full-time, 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7am – 5pm. Benefits: 25 days holiday plus paid leave for bank holidays A company sick pay scheme (4 days paid a year) Level 2 Bupa Healthcare Cash Plan cover from day 1 Juno wellbeing points can be redeemed on health and wellbeing products or services Role Overview: The Machine Operator will manage setup, tune-up, and monitor semi-automated machinery to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness with minimal downtime. Responsibilities: Setting up the case packer/labeller machines ready for production. Running routine maintenance of machinery. Ensuring quality and productivity targets are met consistently. Attention to detail and adjusting the machine as needed to improve quality and maintain line speeds. Carrying out in-process quality checks at specified intervals and recording downtime. Full ownership of machine performance. Candidate Requirements: Hands-on experience with machinery and an inner understanding of how machines work. Attention to detail and a keen willingness to learn with a can-do attitude. Ability to take pride in their work. Good level of problem-solving skills.
