My client has been going for over 70 years and supplies into multiple sectors due to the nature of their business. As they work with a range of key industries, they are in a financially strong & stable position and due to their growth, they are looking to add a Machine Operator to their team.
In this role, you will join a busy workshop team in a varied position setting & operating a Press Brake machine. You will also be provided with opportunities to be trained on other machinery within the site to improve your skillset.
The role:
Monday to Friday, 38.5hr week (Hours can vary between 2 shifts 6 am - 2:30 pm or 8 am - 4:30 pm, candidates may have the option to choose a preferred shift) Setting and operating a press brake machine Varied role with some work on other machinery and equipment in the workshop
The person: Previous experience in a workshop, engineering or manufacturing environment Experience setting and operating machinery Experienced in working with sheet metal Any experience with the following is beneficial but not a necessity: press brake, bending machines, hydraulic press, folding machines, plasma cutters, welding, fabrication, punch press, corrugators, coiling, production lines, working with steel or operating a counterbalance forklift truck Can commute to Evesham
