Blue Arrow are working with a market leading steel trading and distribution company in Edinburgh for a Machine/Warehouse Operative on a temporary to permanent basis.This position is working Monday-Friday backshift working 1430-2300. Overtime is availablePlease note there will be 4 weeks training / induction where you will be required to work dayshiftThis is a unique opportunity to kickstart a career in the industry with all the training you need to be successful. Our client is focused on the longevity of staff service. They are a friendly and relaxed team who will be there to fully support you throughout your training.As part of your daily duties you will be:- Driving a forklift (training provided)- Loading vehicles using an overhead crane- Operating a steel saw- Manual handling- Moving heavy loads with machinery- Operating in a safe manner following all health & safety procedures on site.The company will train the successful candidate on all machinery and all health and safety procedures in place.Experience working within the steel/metal industry or working with similar machinery would be advantageous.https://Application/s/recruiterbot?recordId=a8OQ50000000TzhMAE
