We are searching for an experienced machine setter to join our client in Corby. As the successful candidate, you would be responsible for the efficient set-up, operation, and maintenance of assigned production lines, ensuring performance meets company targets for quality, efficiency, and safety. Hours : First 3 months (training period): Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5pm. After 3 months: Panama shift pattern (2-2-3 shift pattern). Salary : Salary after training will reflect the change from trainee to machine setter. Key Responsibilities : Operate and maintain two to three production lines per shift, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.

Ensure products meet company quality standards, with accurate and complete production records maintained.

Maximise machine efficiency, minimising off-line time and defective products.

Optimise material usage to meet company efficiency targets, reducing waste and controlling product weights.

Support a collaborative work environment, cooperating with shift leaders, materials handlers, packers, and quality control staff.

Conduct regular equipment maintenance and care, ensuring tools and machinery remain in top condition.

Adhere to company policies, including health and safety, hygiene standards, and record-keeping procedures.

Accurately report production metrics, including machine conditions, downtime, and areas for improvement using the designated reporting systems.

Performance Metrics : Maximise production output by minimising machine downtime and defective product rates.

Efficient use of materials, including minimal waste, correct bottle weights, and optimal regrind content.

Consistent adherence to quality standards, with proactive quality control measures in place.

Skills & Requirements : Proven experience in machine setting or a similar production role.

Ability to work collaboratively within a production team.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Flexibility to cover vacant shifts and participate in required training.

Excellent record-keeping and reporting skills.
