The position is Full time, permanent, working 21:00 - 06:00, Sunday to Thursday.
Positively affect site efficiency through practical intervention and improvement activities, supporting the production environment with functional expertise. Working within an established team, you will have an opportunity to build upon your existing skills and continuous personal development.
Key Responsibilities: Knife and plate grinding for machinery to be used in Production. Setting up of lines alongside the Hygiene Team. Assist Engineering department in preventative maintenance tasks. Reporting any damage or faults to the Engineering Team and recording on the in-house work schedule system. Participate in engineering focused activities in support of manufacturing plant and equipment performance KPI's. Contribute to continuous improvement projects. Ensure high standards of engineering workmanship across the site. Ensure Health and Safety procedures are adhered to and any issues or near misses are reported accordingly. Share best practice and contribute to raising awareness and improving performance within the site.
