The Best Connection are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading plastic manufacturing company in Poole, for a Machine Setter/Operator to run the Thermoforming production lines. Working set shift patterns is a requirement of the role and will include night work.Responsibilities:Carry out tool & insert changes correctly to SOC’sEnsure thermoforming machinery is running to standard cycle speedClean granulators, lines, towers, loaders and blenders between colour/formulation changesMaintain hygiene and housekeeping standards in the work area and around machines at all times.Keep plastic properly separated – no mixed plastics of different colour or paper/absorbent pads/bubble pads when granulatingIdeal candidate:Previous experience in a similar role highly advantageousAble to work on your feet for long periods of timeHappy to work set shift patterns including night shiftsWorking hours:Shift patterns are:Week 1 Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 6am-6pmWeek 2 Wednesday, Thursday 6am-6pmWeek 3 (Night Shifts) Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 6pm-6amWeek 4 (Night Shifts) Wednesday, Thursday 6pm-6amPay Rate:£14.30ph Temp to perm position for the right candidate.
