Machine Wrapping Operators

for our very well established and renowned client based in Little Hulton, Manchester. Our client was founded in 2018 and was the first Company to produce Paper Straws in the UK. They are now part of the largest producer of all types of Drinking Straws in Europe, with a combined annual production capacity of 15 billion pieces. As part of their continuous drive to innovate, they are investing in new production equipment from Europe as well as launching a wide range of Fibre Based Products. About the Job Working for a very well-established company in Little Hulton, Manchester, you will be working as a Machine Wrapping Operator on a temporary to permanent position. You will have worked in a similar environment previously and have wrapping operating knowledge/experience. Duties: Operating a variety of machines and undertaking jobs in the manufacturing of paper and packaging products To be flexible and adaptable in the duties you perform Working within a high-quality production factory environment Develop your product knowledge and hands-on skills Supporting the manufacturing process in a timely manner Requirements: Must have previous machine operative experience Excellent attention to detail Be able to work in a physically demanding environment Be proactive A hardworking and self-motivating attitude The ability to work independently and within a team Good time keeping Be able to learn new skills Be able to perform small fixes Shifts available and Remuneration: Monday to Friday – 6am to 2pm - £11.44 Monday to Friday – 2pm to 10pm - £11.94 Monday to Friday – 10pm to 6am - £12.44 About you: Working for an agency can be a beneficial way of having a flexible working arrangement, giving you the freedom to enjoy a better work/life balance.
