This ensures minimal travel time, allowing you to focus on keeping your clients compliant and performing at your best. What will you be doing? As a Machinery Engineer Surveyor at Bureau Technical Inspection Services, your primary responsibility is to work closely with customers in all sectors of UK industry, ensuring their safety and compliance. You will manage your own district of clients, utilising your expertise and knowledge to organise, prioritise, and book inspections for their plant equipment, all while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Your key responsibilities will include: Conducting quality assessments and rigorous inspections. Issuing detailed reports in line with Bureau Technical Inspection Services' requirements and timelines. Ensuring customers' compliance with current industry regulations in the UK. Identifying failure mechanisms and potential defects early on to help prolong the life of machinery equipment. Providing exceptional customer service while representing our company professionally. What experience do you need? We pride ourselves on having the best team of highly skilled and qualified Engineer Surveyors, and we seek individuals who share our passion, aptitude, and dedication. To thrive in this role, you should possess: A Level 4 engineering qualification and practical experience. Experience in Machinery Statutory Inspections for a Type A Inspection business. Practical experience working with various types of Machinery equipment. Strong communication skills to articulate complex technical problems effectively. Experience working as part of a team to provide end-to-end Statutory Inspections. Familiarity with ISO 17020 requirements and maintaining your own competency as a Machinery Engineer Surveyor.
