Day Shift, typically 7:30am to 4pm (Mon - Thu), Friday 7:30am to 3pm About Our Client: Our client is an industry-leading organisation in the aerospace sector, dedicated to delivering high-quality products and solutions to their global customer base. With a focus on innovation and continuous improvement, our client is seeking a skilled Machining Technician - CNC Milling to join their dynamic team in Stroud. Benefits & Perks: Competitive salary based on experience 25 days holiday plus public holidays, increasing to 30 days based on service Discounted gym membership Employee assistance programme Occupational sick pay 5% pension match upon eligibility Part of an international progressive group of companies Company uniform Salaried position with potential for overtime opportunities (subject to policy) Responsibilities: Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers and CNC Operators to provide essential first-line engineering support Interpret and fulfil customer requirements with guidance from the Manufacturing Engineers Write and modify CNC programmes to meet production needs Provide hands-on support for New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives Promote and maintain a safety-first culture Support continuous improvement activities across the organisation Collaborate with and support wider production teams Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience): Relevant experience at a technical engineering/programming level Strong problem-solving abilities Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office software Comfortable using computer-based manufacturing systems and reporting Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience): Experience with Fanuc Controls Previous leadership experience at Team Leader level or above CNC turning experience Direct experience using HyperMill CAD/CAM Familiarity with Fanuc, Siemens, and Heidenhain controls Technologies:
