We are looking for a Machinist to join a manufacturing company in Clacton on Sea. The company is a manufacturer of small components that are used within various industries.
The role on offer will be to work with a variety of CNC and manual machinery. You will need to have experience working with similar machinery or have worked within engineering or toolmaking.
Starting salary will be circa £16ph. Working hours will be 08:00-16:30 Monday to Thursday with a 15:30 finish on Fridays.
Duties include:
Machining parts on mills and lathes
Working from technical drawings
Understanding of tool design & related software
Sticking to strict health and safety guidelines
Working with surface grinders
Operating CNC machinery as well as manual machines
