An exciting job-share opportunity has arisen to work within the Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Centre. The successful post holder will be required to manage and deliver the comprehensive cancer information and support service within Kettering NHS Foundation Trust for people affected by cancer, including patients, carers, family, friends, and health and social care professionals. The successful candidate will be adaptable and flexible with proven leadership experience working both autonomously and as part of a friendly and supportive team of staff and volunteers. Integral to this role is engagement with service users and key stakeholders across the University Hospitals of Northamptonshire as well as the Northamptonshire Integrated Care system, in order to improve cancer information and support for all. * Please be aware there will be a presentation at interview* (Please present a 10-minute PowerPoint presentation on the role of the information and support service manager and how it supports patients through their cancer pathway) Main duties of the job

As per the job description attached, but additionally, there will be occasions when the post-holder will be required to attend out-of-hours events as well as those arranged and scheduled at weekends. Education, Training and Qualifications

Advanced Communication Skills or willingness to undertake Level 2 Psychological Support or willingness to undertake Registered Nurse/Allied Healthcare Professional or equivalent level of education or training Knowledge and Experience

Broad knowledge of cancer and its management Considerable experience in caring for cancer patients Experience of providing verbal and written information to those affected by cancer Multi-professional working Cancer Recovery Package Equal Opportunities
