Contract: Fixed term contract, until 31 December 2025 Citizens Advice Darlington Redcar and Cleveland are recruiting for a position to deliver our project-funded Macmillan Welfare Benefits Adviser. This is a perfect opportunity for a focused individual with great communication skills and a passion for helping individuals and families access the financial support they need during difficult times. Responsibilities include providing a holistic welfare benefits, employment, housing, and general advice service for people affected by cancer within a hospital setting and via telephone. Our ideal candidate will have an understanding of the impact of cancer and previous experience in supporting clients. This role is project-funded, so it is important that you enjoy working to targets, allowing you to efficiently support clients in this busy area of advice. You will be supervised by your line manager, who will provide feedback to support your learning and development. To apply, please email
