Representing bestselling authors including Gail Honeyman, C.L. Taylor, Fiona Barton, C.J. Tudor, and Holly Bourne, the agency has a reputation for talent spotting new writers and negotiating major deals across all media.

Madeleine Milburn Ltd is looking for an energetic, creative, and highly-motivated Rights Assistant. This crucial role is best suited for someone with at least one year's office and/or industry experience and a desire to progress within the agency. They should also have a proven track record of administrative excellence and be a voracious reader of contemporary fiction.

As part of an ambitious team, your role will demand a sense of urgency coupled with an aptitude for calm, an articulate phone and writing style, a desire to learn and to initiate, and outstanding organisational standards.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Assisting with international rights for adult and children's fiction and non-fiction; Creating agency marketing material; Scheduling and attending book fairs; Royalty and contract processing; Website and database management; Responsibility for agency media in relation to international rights; Handling international publicity for authors; General office duties.
