Role Overview: The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will report to senior staff members and ultimately the Managing Director. The role involves assisting Senior Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers with both pre and post-contract duties. This includes preparing cost plans, tender documents, financial statements, and more. Key Responsibilities: Support in the preparation of cost plans and evaluations. Assist in the creation of tender documents and financial statements. Measure for Bills of Quantities/Schedules of Work. Conduct final account assessments and interim valuations. Assess cost variations to contracts. Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors. Provide project support for client direct suppliers coordination. Engage in marketing activities, including updating the website and social networking sites. Conduct project analysis for cost databases. Qualifications and Experience: GCSEs in Maths and English (grade C or above) or equivalent. Sufficient qualifications to allow entry to a RICS recognised construction degree course. Some knowledge of construction and quantity surveying duties. Projects: The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be involved in diverse projects across various sectors, including: Hospitality:
