Job Description

Job Title: Magnolia CMS Developer Location: London (mainly remote) Contract Duration: 6 months (with possibility of extension) Contract inside IR35 Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Magnolia CMS Developer to join our team on a 6-month contract, with potential for extension. This fully remote role involves building, maintaining, and optimizing digital solutions on the Magnolia CMS platform. Key Responsibilities Develop & Customize: Build and maintain websites, components, and applications using Magnolia CMS. Solution Implementation: Translate business and technical requirements into scalable CMS solutions. Extend Functionality: Develop custom modules, templates, and widgets within Magnolia CMS. Optimize Performance: Ensure websites and applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and security. Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure code quality. Documentation: Create technical documentation and design specifications for future support. Required Qualifications Magnolia CMS Expertise: 3+ years of experience with Magnolia CMS, including templating and custom module development. Java Proficiency: Strong background in Java, with experience in Java-based application development. Front End Knowledge: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and optionally Front End frameworks. CMS Knowledge: Solid understanding of content modelling, asset management, and CMS workflows. API Integration: Experience with RESTful API integrations. Database Skills: Proficient in MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar databases. Version Control: Experience with Git or similar version control systems.
