This is an excellent opportunity for a Deputy Maintenance Shift Manager (electrical/mechanical) to join a leading global engineering business within a FMCG distribution/logistic site. Benefits: 10% Pension 22 Days Holiday Life Insurance Overtime Certified Qualifications plus Career Development Plan Role & Responsibilities: Support the shift manager in leading the shift team Maintain, repair and support the equipment Undertake scheduled repairs according to the manufacturer's recommendations Mechanical / Electrical Maintenance knowledge Basic PLC / PC faults Prioritise system faults Accurately record all work undertaken Continuous improvement and enhancement opportunities Ensure on-site spares are kept to optimum levels Adhere to the Quality processes and procedures Qualifications: ONC OR HNC OR BTEC/NVQ 3 Engineering or Engineering Apprenticeship Experience in previously managing a team (desirable) A working understanding of Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic technical manuals & drawings Basic knowledge of PLC equipment
