Our client is a major employer in the Carlisle area and is presently looking to appoint a Maintenance Electrician to join their existing team.
Your role will entail ensuring all equipment is operating to the required standard and improving overall safety.
You will use your experience and knowledge to fault find and diagnose electrical problems on PLC controlled machinery within a complex and high-volume manufacturing area. General duties will entail:
Repair and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and components
Fault finding of automated electrical systems using PLC diagnostic skills
Fault finding on network systems
Regular preventative maintenance
Ensure all components are functioning correctly
Ad hoc duties as and when required
Candidates should be team players and capable problem solvers. You should be time served, have knowledge of PLC, and have the capability to read and interpret technical drawings.
This is a 40-hour week working regular days; however, candidates should have the flexibility to cover weekends and a 3-shift system when necessary.
