Schedule: Monday to Friday, Rotating Shifts (06:00-14:00 / 08:00-17:00 / 14:00-22:00) We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join a dedicated team on a large, static commercial site in Woking. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the headquarters of a well-known vehicle manufacturer, renowned for its participation in high-level motorsports. The role is client-facing and involves regular interactions with VIPs, requiring a professional and personable approach. Key Responsibilities for a Maintenance Electrician: Conduct routine maintenance on emergency lighting systems. Perform water temperature checks to ensure compliance with safety standards. Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs) on Air Handling Units (AHUs). Monitor and maintain the Building Management System (BMS) for optimal performance. Undertake light plumbing tasks as needed. Walk up to 20,000 steps daily across the site, ensuring all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently. Maintain a high level of professionalism in client-facing situations, particularly when interacting with VIPs. Experience required for a Maintenance Electrician: Experience: Proven experience as a maintenance electrician, ideally within a commercial or industrial environment. Skills: Strong knowledge of emergency lighting systems, AHUs, BMS, and general maintenance tasks. Basic plumbing skills are also desirable. Attributes: Physically fit, proactive, and able to manage a demanding workload. Excellent communication skills and a client-focused attitude are essential.
