We are currently looking for a skilled
Maintenance Electrician
to join our team, covering the
Slough
area and working on a key
retail contract . This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified electrician to work with a well-established company and ensure the smooth running of electrical systems across multiple retail sites.
The Role – Maintenance Electrician As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for performing both planned and reactive electrical maintenance across retail stores in the Slough area. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that all electrical systems are safe, functional, and compliant with regulations, minimising downtime for our clients.
Key Responsibilities – Maintenance Electrician
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and equipment
Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests and breakdowns
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults, providing quick and effective repairs
Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure safety compliance
Liaise with store managers and clients to provide updates on job status and any required works
Complete all relevant documentation and reports in line with company procedures and compliance standards
Work within Health & Safety guidelines to ensure the safe operation of all systems
About You – Maintenance Electrician To be successful in this role, you will need:
Qualified Electrician
(City & Guilds 2365, 18th Edition, or equivalent)
Proven experience in maintenance, ideally within the retail or commercial sector
Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
Excellent troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
Strong communication skills to work effectively with clients and the wider team
Full UK driving licence
