Who are we looking for?

We now have an opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Ashby-de-la-Zouch. In this role, you will manage and effectively undertake the maintenance of machinery and general site repairs. What will you be doing?

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will carry out planned predictive and preventative maintenance on production machinery, including pneumatic pumps, electrical motors, Z Blade mixers, mill machines and a variety of other mechanical and electrical equipment as well as responding to breakdowns as they happen to reduce downtime. You will be responsible for maintaining good standards of housekeeping in all production and warehouse environments and for the care, safekeeping and security of all tools and materials of the engineering store. This position will supervise the on-site contractors and arrange work permits. The role includes working at heights to approximately 12 metres. Who are You?

Ideally, you will have: Electrics to 18th edition or good working knowledge of; Previous proven working experience in a maintenance environment; Mechanical and electrical maintenance knowledge; Basic welding and fabrication; IPAF or equivalent for working at heights; SEMA for racking maintenance. To be successful in this role, you will need to be an effective team player, with the ability to work autonomously. In addition, you will: Have good communication skills; Be able to work on both single and three phase machinery; Have an understanding of Atex and its limitations; Be as flexible as possible and carry out any other duties within the department which may be required. Working Pattern

40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 7.00 am to 4.00 pm, with a 30-minute break for lunch, and Friday, 7.00 am to 1.00 pm. We are Offering...
