Position Overview:

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will work closely with the production team to provide active support in all maintenance functions. This includes offering electrical, mechanical, and PLC support to ensure optimal performance of equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide electrical, mechanical, and PLC support to maintain production machinery and equipment. Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner. Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability. Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical faults efficiently. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance. Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:

Degree or equivalent in mechanical or electrical engineering OR proven work experience as a maintenance engineer. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Willingness to learn and develop skills in a dynamic work environment. Flexibility to work shifts as required. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Salary:

The salary for this position is based on experience and ranges from £35,000 to £46,000.
