Location: Barnsley Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week Salary: £45,000+ Depending on experience Advanced Resource Managers are excited to support one of the UK's leading structural steelwork fabricators in hiring a Maintenance Engineer on a staff basis. Responsibilities: Ensure that machinery, equipment, and facilities operate efficiently and safely. Perform routine inspections and repairs. Plan and carry out preventative maintenance tasks. Qualifications: An experienced individual with a background in electrical engineering. NVQ level 3 in electrical or equivalent. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. Skills and Knowledge: Electrical & mechanical fault finding. Ability to read mechanical & electrical drawings. Change bearings and gears. Knowledge of maintaining/repairing overhead cranes, jibs, plasma cutting machinery, gas cutting machinery, saw/drilling machinery, forklifts, and sideloaders. Ability to work on your initiative and show a willingness to see jobs through. Ability to adhere to Health and Safety procedures and work instructions. Organise and control subcontractors.
