The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximizing machine efficiencies. The jobholder will work on a rotating two-shift pattern and be responsible for strong / clear communication links between shifts and relevant departments. The ideal candidate will come from an electrical engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time-served engineer with electrical bias (but multi-skilled) and have fluid power experience. If you have worked on PLC controlled machinery, it would be advantageous. Also, the candidate should be able and willing to clean filter pumps and perform general mechanical work on pumps, conveyors, filters, and other manufacturing machinery. There is a huge amount of training on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
