38,830.93 Currently working with a leading automotive business based in Walsall looking for a Maintenance Engineer from an apprentice trained background who has worked on CNC machines and has experience with other assembly machines. This role involves leading a small team of Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers, but is more of a guidance and technical leadership role, rather than man management. As a Maintenance Engineer, the role will involve but will not be limited to: Support, comply and ensure complicity with Health & Safety regulations, the Company Handbook, Quality and Environmental standards & all other Company policies and procedures. Responding to Breakdowns with Extensive fault finding (both electrical and mechanical). Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance of our CNC machinery and assembly equipment. Carry out servicing work, including the completion of service reports and internal systems via our CMMS system. Co-operate and support all maintenance activities to meet the overall department objectives. Contribute to a positive 5S policy to the agreed standards. The ability to work within a team environment based on openness, mutual respect, and collaborative working. Support the TPM/PPM follow-up activities to ensure timely close out.
