Maintenance Engineer Our client, a leading processing and manufacturing company, is in search of an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their highly reputable company.

Main Duties

Manage fire safety checks including daily panel, weekly break glass, and monthly equipment checks.

Take overall responsibility for the maintenance of the site.

Carry out regular preventative maintenance checks and record same on computerised system.

Carry out necessary repairs and servicing of reach trucks and pallet trucks- any major repairs undertaken by outside contractors.

Carry out necessary repairs to the fabric of the building.

Work closely with the management team and provide regular reports on the repairs.

Complete all necessary records in relation to duties carried out.

Installation, repair, and upkeep of all electrical and/or mechanical production equipment.

Electrical/Mechanical fault diagnosis.

Ensuring preventative maintenance schedules are followed and completed in full.

Provision of technical support to all departments.

Ensuring the infrastructure is maintained to a high standard.

Implement solutions to help improve machine reliability and quality standards.

Comply with food safety, quality, legality, and environmental policies.

Successful candidate must have:

Qualification in a mechanical or relevant discipline.

Three years previous experience in a similar role.

Team player, able to work with others and achieve results.

Experience in multi-disciplinary & cross-functional teams.

Able to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.

Being flexible with working hours to meet the needs of the business.
