Scantec Recruitment are working in partnership with a market-leading FMCG Manufacturing business based in South Lanarkshire. Due to growth at the site and some promotions within the Engineering team, we are now seeking Shift Maintenance Engineers to support this. There have been a lot of positive changes and it's exciting times at this site with fantastic opportunities for career progression. If you're a Multi Skilled Engineer with experience in any fast-paced manufacturing environment, please speak to me for further details! Our client is flexible on this. Shifts: 4 on, 4 off - 7am-7pm / 7pm-7am 2 days / 2 nights Lots of overtime available. Job Purpose: To carry out planned maintenance work and repairs to a wide range of production machinery and equipment, ensuring safety and reliability of the production process. Key Responsibilities: Ensure correct Health & Safety, Food Safety and Hygiene standards are adhered to at all times. Continuous development of knowledge and familiarity with the engineering requirements of the production process systems and machinery. Work as an active part of a skilled cross-functional planned maintenance team. Ensure a fast and effective response especially under breakdown conditions. Ensure planned maintenance work is completed to strict schedules, constantly looking for improvements that ensure reliability of equipment. Quickly diagnose faults and take corrective action. Assist and support mechanical engineers with their duties. Actively participate in a Continuous Improvement culture throughout the site, identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies and reduce waste. Assist in the training of fellow maintenance engineers, Operator-Technicians, and others where necessary. Work on various projects including installation and modifications to plant and equipment. Required Skills & Experience: Ideally, you will hold the appropriate Engineering qualifications in either an electrical or mechanical discipline. Seniority Level
