We have an exciting new opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join our new distribution centre in Ellesmere Port. This is an exciting opportunity to join our maintenance team and help resolve, repair issues and maintain equipment on our site. Working full time, reporting into our Facilities & Maintenance Manager. Key Responsibilities:

Work with 3rd party contracts to ensure best value. Ensure compliance with H&S requirements, i.e., PUWER/LOLER etc. Prioritize health & safety best practices in all work carried out, ensuring compliance with all health & safety standards and regulations. Follow and action planned maintenance schedules effectively. Collaborate with the Facilities team to resolve, repair issues, maintain equipment, and assist with quotes and project work. React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected parties, and work efficiently to fix issues. Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and providing feedback and suggestions for improvements. Minimum Requirements:

Served a full Engineering indentured Apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject (City & Guilds EAL, SVQ/IVQ, BTEC all at Level 3). Multi-skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines. Experience in setting standards and implementing them on site. Familiarity with warehouse internals, i.e., racking, dock doors, dock lifting systems, sprinklers, lighting, power distribution, plumbing, joinery, and general repair works. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple maintenance works. Good communication skills within a team and while working alongside operations. Warehouse automation experience is preferred as the company looks to develop.
