Who we are looking for

A Maintenance Engineer, who will play a key role in the maintenance of our multi-story office complex on a reactive and pre-planned basis.


You will work as part of a team to ensure our office building is maintained to the highest standard whilst meeting HSE building compliance legislation.


You will be required to work any five from seven days including weekends and support the department’s on-call rota.


If successful, you will be required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK from your first day of employment.


Preferred skills and experience

  • Facilities management experience is preferred.
  • Health and Safety experience including COSHH, Risk Assessment and Permits to Work.
  • Computer literate including Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Strong communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Possession of a full UK driving licence is essential.


Main Responsibilities

  • Carrying out preventative maintenance in accordance with SFG20 standards.
  • Responding to requests that are raised through the Facilities Helpdesk.
  • Performing painting and decorating and completing all remedial maintenance work including minor plumbing and joinery repairs.
  • Chaperoning and ensuring contractors adhere to Company policies and procedures.
  • Reporting and correcting faults to maintain the standards of all properties.
  • Obtaining quotes for minor technical parts.
  • Completing collection and deliveries as required.
  • Carrying out a wide scope of general maintenance tasks including joinery, basic plumbing and electrical work.
