The Role: As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for: Preventative maintenance in line with the maintenance schedule Reactive maintenance, including fault finding and repairs Continuous improvement to enhance production efficiency and meet KPI targets Managing workshop stock control and monitoring spare parts usage Preparing work progress reports Collaborating with third-party contractors on site Maintaining and improving workshop and site housekeeping standards Communicating effectively with line and site management about equipment conditions and performance The Candidate: The ideal Maintenance Engineer will have: A qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Refrigeration engineering 18th Edition qualification preferred but not essential Experience in the food industry is advantageous Ability to work independently and under pressure Capability to perform physically demanding work, including at heights and in cold conditions IT literacy, including MS Office and experience with PLC controlled systems A proactive approach to problem-solving and eagerness to learn Strong team player with excellent communication skills Forklift truck driving and MEWP experience Qualifications
