We are excited to partner with a leading company based in Hull, renowned for its innovation and commitment to excellence. Due to an impressive period of growth, the company is expanding its Engineering Department and is now seeking a talented and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:

Conducting planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance on a wide range of manufacturing equipment. Diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical faults efficiently to minimize downtime. Collaborating with production teams to ensure engineering solutions meet operational requirements. Driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize machinery performance and reliability. Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.

Successful Maintenance Engineer will have: A strong background in both mechanical and electrical maintenance (multi-skilled experience preferred). Relevant qualifications, such as an NVQ Level 3 in Engineering, or equivalent. Previous experience working in a pharmaceutical, FMCG, or highly regulated environment. Excellent fault-finding skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. A strong understanding of health, safety, and compliance standards in manufacturing.
