Maintenance Engineer (FMCG) Location: Ilkeston Salary: GBP45,000 per annum Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (Days) Are you a skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity within the FMCG sector? We are currently seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join our team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on a wide range of production equipment. Ensure all machinery and equipment are in optimal working condition to minimize downtime. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and automated systems. Work with production teams to maintain high levels of operational efficiency. Adhere to safety, health, and environmental regulations at all times. Maintain accurate records of maintenance work carried out. Key Requirements: Proven experience in a similar maintenance role within an FMCG or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, PLCs, and automation. Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently. A proactive and safety-conscious attitude. Experience working within a fast-paced, production-oriented environment. Engineering qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent) preferred. Strong communication and teamworking skills.
