We're looking for an experienced maintenance engineer to join a dynamic team in Bromborough, where you'll play a key role in keeping a 24 hour facility running at peak performance. If you thrive on solving complex challenges and want to work in a very secure role, this is the opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities
- Take charge of maintaining and optimising a variety of plant equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues, minimising downtime and keeping production on track.
- Lead planned preventative maintenance efforts, proactively addressing potential issues before they become problems.
- Collaborate closely with our production team to drive improvements in efficiency and reliability.
- Keep detailed maintenance records and contribute to performance reporting, helping to shape the future of our operations.
- Champion health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with all industry regulations.
- Innovate and implement process improvements that boost productivity and reduce costs.
Qualifications and Experience
- NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or a completed apprenticeship in Plant Maintenance.
- Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role.
- Strong expertise in both mechanical and electrical engineering, with a knack for tackling complex challenges.
- Familiarity with PLC systems and automated machinery is a significant advantage.
- A proactive approach, with the ability to think on your feet and handle multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Flexibility to work 12-hour rotating shifts, covering both days and nights.
