An automated equipment provider requires a Maintenance Engineer to work nights at their customer site in St Helens providing maintenance, breakdown, and support engineering on the equipment. The ideal candidate will be City & Guilds in Electrical and be multi-skilled.
Commutable from: St Helens, Warrington, Wigan, Widnes, Skelmersdale, Liverpool, Knowsley, Leigh, Runcorn
Salary: £44,000 p.a. + Benefits
Working Hours: Sun to Thurs: 9:30pm - 6am
The Role
Reporting into the Engineering Manager, you will have the following responsibilities:
Perform routine and planned maintenance on the customer's equipment.
Perform breakdown repairs on the customer machines in a timely manner.
Record parts used and maintenance performed on a daily basis.
Provide support to cover small maintenance works on the building where required.
Assist in the development and training of others in the department.
The Person
Ideally educated to City & Guilds in electrical, you will have the following experiences:
You will be electrically competent and biased to electrical.
Multi-skilled in electrical and mechanical is essential.
NEBOSH, Spirax Sarco Steam Training, IPAF, Gas Safe and Confined Space are advantageous.
