Join Our Client's Team as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer! Are you a seasoned Maintenance Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity with a leading FMCG company? Our client, a highly successful and well-established organisation, is on the hunt for an experienced professional to ensure the smooth, safe, and cost-effective operation of their site. About the Role:

As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll work closely with the Engineering Supervisor / Chargehand and play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of their operations. This position offers a 4 on/4 off rotating schedule, covering both days and nights (6 am-6 pm / 6 pm-6 am). Starting salary of 57,000 per annum plus competitive benefits package await the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: Champion a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement within a fast-paced FMCG environment, striving for world-class manufacturing. Deliver safe and high-performance engineering solutions while minimising downtime and costs. Organise and execute tasks with professionalism, ensuring accountability for all tools and equipment used. Contribute to reducing Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) through active participation in discussions and planning. Work towards improving Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) by conducting root cause analysis with the engineering team and meeting set KPIs. Adhere to and complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule. Provide accurate and timely reports as required. Ensure compliance with Safety, Health & Environment (SHE), Quality, Food Safety, and relevant regulatory standards, including FSA, BRC, PIU, and customer-specific needs. Complete daily paperwork, including Breakdown Analysis Reports (BAR). Mentor and assist apprentices in their development. What They're Looking For: A proven track record in a similar role, particularly within an FMCG/Food manufacturing environment, focusing on plant reliability. Experience working to the high standards of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). A team player who understands the importance of collaboration and the roles within a team. A proactive attitude towards driving continuous improvement and operational excellence. This position is based in Banbury and is easily accessible from Oxford, Daventry, Northampton, Stratford Upon Avon, Moreton-in-Marsh, and Royal Leamington Spa.
