Maintenance Engineer - Swimming Pools

Our client is looking for a Maintenance / Service Engineer. The Company operates in the UK construction industry providing Commercial water features. The role will include the operation and maintenance of water features installed mainly in the London area.

Responsibilities

Maintenance of pumping & pipework systems.

Maintenance of filtration systems.

Operation and maintenance of automatic and manual chemical dosing systems.

Maintenance of lighting systems.

Operation, maintenance and testing of electrical control systems.

Fault finding and diagnosis both mechanical & electrical.

Water feature pool general maintenance including vacuum and debris removal.

Upkeep of data logs and visit report sheets.

Drive vehicles (e.g., Van) for the purpose of travelling to designated sites.

Load and unload Van for the purpose of replacing consumables used on site.

Job Requirements / Minimum Qualifications

Must adhere to all health and safety practices.

Capable of using an array of hand and small power tools.

Ideally able to use relevant computer software applications and maintain accurate records.

Good numerical skills and understanding of written and oral procedures.

Excellent communication skills.

Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge and understanding of everyday safety procedures.

Ability to interact with a wide diversity of individuals.

Some problem solving may be required.

Excellent time keeping, flexibility, and physical stamina.

Education to GCSE-level standard is expected.

Clean driving license required.

Pay and Benefits

Salary and bonus depending on age and experience.

Overtime.

Pension - Auto enrolment with up to 5% company contribution after 12 months.

Death in service insurance of 3 x basic salary.

Branded company work clothing including all PPE will be supplied for day-to-day use.

Travel - The company will provide a branded vehicle for travel to and from work or will pay for you to travel to site using public transport.

Holidays - 30 days to include all Bank Holidays.
