The shifts are:
Early: 6am-2pm Days: 8am-5pm (with alternate shift 9am-6pm) Lates: 2pm-10pm
The role holder will spend one night on call every eight nights, coinciding with a late shift. This is known as Late on call and varies from the standard late shift. Late on call is based around completion of production, depending on levels of milk production. This shift is flexible, with a possible later start but rarely extends beyond 4pm to midnight. Weekends are worked on an eight-week cycle, requiring three weekends and an additional Saturday, spaced with rostered rest days, providing opportunities for long weekends. Key Responsibilities:
General mechanical engineering on site with a best in field approach, including measurement and analysis of equipment using predictive maintenance techniques. Fault finding to diagnose plant issues affecting performance. Boiler operation and maintenance, ensuring compliance with legal requirements. Operation of cooling towers and maintenance, ensuring compliance with legal requirements. Operation of water treatment systems and maintenance, ensuring compliance with legal requirements. Operation of compressed air systems and maintenance, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
