This may involve using root cause analysis techniques to identify the underlying issues. Updating maintenance records: Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks, in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Performing preventive maintenance: Ensuring all preventative maintenance checks are carried out On Time In Full (OTIF). Managing contractors on site (direct & 3rd party) Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains in the operation and maintenance of the sorters and conveyors, implementing changes as necessary to enhance performance and reliability. What You'll Have: A minimum qualification in electrical, electrical installation or electrical bias at level 3. Proven experience as a maintenance engineer/ field service engineer/ installation engineer, within a logistics, automation, manufacturing, production or sortation environment. Good knowledge of PLC controls (Siemens or Allen Bradley) Strength in operating autonomously to effectively fault find through root cause analysis and implement quick preventive solutions. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Good PC skills (Microsoft office/ BMS/ maintenance engineering software) We are also interested if you have a mechanical engineering background with an appetite to learn and develop electrical maintenance skills - paramount for the position. Panama Shift Pattern: Week 1: 6am - 6pm - Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday (60 hours) Week 2: 6am - 6pm - Wednesday, Thursday (24 hours) Week 3: 2:30pm - 2:30am - Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday (60 hours) Week 4: 2:30pm - 2:30am - Wednesday, Thursday (24 hours) Interested?
